Maci, We just wanted you to know how proud we are. We have watched you race since Muddy Creek and are amazed how each race you seem to out do yourself. Watching you at Lorretta Lynn's was unbelievable. Fighting the weather conditions, holding your belt housing cover in place with your leg and finishing third in moto 1 was remarkable. Then in moto2 your quad frame broke in four places and you still finished third was incredible. Your skills and knowledge are so advanced for a 12 year old. CONGRATULATIONS ON #2 OVERALL FINALS!!! If Ashton Ward is the "dynamite in a small package" for the Mushin Racing youth team then Maci Devenport is the "femme fatale" of the team. Competing in the 90 Auto Senior class, Maci stuck to her race game and bruised, if not demolished, numerous male egos on her way to a commanding finish in the class. With two wins, three seconds and three third place event finishes, she clawed her way to not only a 3rd place finish overall at the final 2010 AMA-ATV MX round but put her self in the history books as the only young lady to take a top three podium spot in the overall series' points standings. Makes It Six For Mushin, Reynoldsburg,
OH / July 19, 2010 / Mushin Racing's Maci Devenport wasn't about to let the big boys of the team out do her on the hilly, clutch churning circuit of Unadilla Valley Sports Center in New Berlin, New York during Round 9 of the 2010 AMA-ATV Motocross Championship. Competing in the 90 Auto Senior ( 12-15 ) class, she was wide open, attacking the ups and downs of the layout and, when all was said and done and the last elevation change was conquered, Devenport had put Mushin Racing on the podium in the class once again. Finishing 2nd, she added to her total podium finishes in the class, bringing the count to seven for the season. In the overall series' points standings, after nine of the eleven rounds, Devenport held down the second place overall position in the 90 Auto Sr. class, just one point out of first. Competing in the predominately male infested youth classes, Maci Devenport shows no indications of allowing the boys to get the best of her. Reynoldsburg, OH / 06.01.10 / Mushin Racing's Youth Team continues to be a force to be dealt with at each and every round of the 2010 AMA-ATV Motocross National Championships. With multiple youth racers competing in multiple classes, it's hard to watch a race from the fence without catching a glimpse of a Mushin Racing youth blasting by on the track.
Maci ran strong at the legendary Steel City track with two 3rd place motos in the 90 Automatic Sr. (12-15) class resulting in a 3rd overall finish. She also ran well in the 90 Production (8-15) class with a 4th and 5th in the motos resulting in a 4th overall. One Podium and a top 5 ... not a bad weekend:) Maci is currently 4th in both classes in the North Challenge and 3rd in the 90 Automatic Sr. (12-15) class in the overall series championship!
Maci ran great in the first motos with a win in the 90 Automatic Sr. (12-15) class and 2nd in the 90 Production (8-15) class. Unfortunately a 9th and 18th in the second motos relegated her to a 5th in the 90 Automatic Sr. (12-15) class and 8th in the 90 Production (8-15) class. That is racing!!! She will charge back at them next week.

Millcreek Raceway,
She was a little disappointed because the kids that took 1st and 2nd
couldn't catch her in any of the practices. She had awesome lap times
and she's gonna keep working hard and hopefully KY will be better.
On another note she just finished 3rd semester and she got straight A's
again and was awarded student of the month for Feb for the entire 6th
grade!

Maci is incredibly excited to join Hot Quads Racing for the 2010 AMA ATV Motocross Championship. Hot Quads has a reputation for producing championship level ATVs. Look for Maci's new Hot Quads Racing DRR to be out front in 2010!
Maci wrapped an incredible season with 7th in both motos at the Dirt Days National. In her first year of National Level competition, Maci finished on the podium twice and her final point total put her 7th in the Nation!! What an incredible first year!
